Other References/Comments:

For those with time on their hands, you can continue on around the lake on the loop track.

As with most South Island towns, there are always numerous tracks in and around the area. In this case most notably Fox Glacier Valley Walk and Mount Fox Track.

Comments

Having spent the morning hiking on Fox Glacier, this serein walk around the lake was a great way to relax and soak in the surroundings with its backdrop of the Southern Alps.
