Take in the sites of Suva, Fiji's capital. Highlights include Old Parliment House, Albert Park, the grand pacific hotel, Thurston Gardens and the Suva foreshore with views of Viti Levu's rugged interior such as Joske's Thumb. You can start in the centre of town and follow the foreshore path right around the coast of the peninsula as it follows Queen Elizabeth Drive or find a park somewhere along it and make your way into town and back.
How do you get to the start of the walk?
Finding parking along Queen Elizabeth Drive or a side street and then walking along the foreshore into the city centre can be an easier way to go about getting a park. Some of the parking along the foreshore is metered.

A detailed description of the walk!
Walk along the foreshore path heading into town taking in the views. As you approach the city centre take in the sights and there are opportunities to extend your walk into some of the gardens such as thurston gardens. Once you have seen the sights make your way back out along the foreshore path. The walk here is placed at 2kms though can easily be longer if exploring more of the city centre and parks or the foreshore path runs virtually uninterupted all the way around to the national stadium HFC Bank Stadium & the university of the south pacific grounds. So the walk could be closer to 12kms if starting from the stadium and walking the foreshore into the city to explore & back.
Do you need any permits? What's the cost?
