Route/Trail notes

A detailed description of the walk!

From the main carpark follow the trail down to the upper pool then follow the trail down the creek until the signed side trail across to Waisila Falls and the lookout above it. From above the lookout there is a trail that continues to the road as well as the big dakua track which links back down to the main upper to lower pools trail further down the track. Though at this time of writing the big dakua track was closed. So from the lookout continue back down to the main trail and follow the sign down to the lower pools. Once at the lower pools head back up to the Colo-i-suva Park Road and follow it back up to the main car park. At the time of writing this bottom part of the Colo-i-suva park road is closed to public traffic.

Permits/Costs

Do you need any permits? What's the cost?

There is a small entrance fee for the park which you can purchase at the parks office on the opposite side of the Princes Road to the main park entrance.
