Route/Trail notes:

From the car park, the first 300m is sealed and wheel chair accessible to the lookout. From here the track continues and walkers can scramble up a marked route to the top of The Governor and back.

With so many bushwalking options here and a length drive in, why not take advantage of the excellent camping facilities at Bark Hut or Dawsons Spring.

Amazing views from the top, well worth the walk. Nice little icy streams, 360 views & Suitable for Children 9+ with previous bush walking experience

By far our best walk of the day. Just sitting on top of The Governor, with a sheer drop off in front of you and an outlook across the northern part of Mount Kaputar NP to die for.
