Commence walk at the Cambridge Plateau picnic Area. This sub-tropical rainforest walk is level for a short while before descending steeply towards the valley where you cross a bridge and then the path ascends again steeply to skirt around the crest of the valley.

From the Bruxner Highway near Mallanganee west of Casino turn north at the top of the hill onto the Cambridge Plateau Senic Drive. Follow this road for some distance before coming to the Cambridge Plateau Picnic Area.

Took us about an hour. A nice walk through the rainforest, some steep parts but easy enough to complete.

We started this walk after 4 o'clock and found the track quite dark. We passed over the bridge at the bottom of the valley and started mapmaking our way up the other side. However due to the lack of light decided to make our way back. The track isn't very clear in places due to the leaf litter and we were concerned that we could easily get lost if we lost too much more light. Therefore we would t recommend this walk if there isn't much daylight left.
