Getting there

From Rathdowney take the Mt Lindsay Highway, and turn onto the Lion's Road which will take you over the Border.  Once over the border you will have entered a narrow section of the Boarder Ranges.  Just before you drive out of the National Park you will come to a turnoff that leads to the picnic area where this walk begins.  Follow the road to the end.

Route/Trail notes

Follow the track to the left of the roadway.  It divides into a loop when you come to a large strangler fig.  Follow the looop round, and back to the car park. For further guidance see attached GPS file.

Permits/Costs

No cost required.

Comments

A short one to stretch the legs. Don't forget to visit the lookout.

We were so busy looking at the strangler fig we didn't raven realise that the track had divided until it brough us back again to the same place. There are a lot of name plates on the trees and even some vines.
