Getting there
The shuttle bus has a stop at Gunners Cottage on Defence Road. Access to the area is across the road and on to a gravel path that leads to the heritage walk.
Route/Trail notes
The walk is generally accessible, though there are no hand rails and is steep in parts. The Point Nepean Cemetary is approximately 100m along the track.
The track ends at the Observatory Point picnic area. There is no access to the beach at this point.
