Route/Trail notes

A detailed description of the walk!

From Stony Creek Road follows Stony Creek crossing the creek twice first non-bridged second bridged before heading up the Northwest Spur switch backs at first then just a straight slog uphill through this section there is limited / no signage some markers can be seen metal in trees or ribbons and the path can be overgrown and not obvious at times. Once the MUMC Hut is reached going gets considerably easier following the Tom Kneen Track past a spring and to the main trail to the summit of Mount Feathertop.
