Route/Trail notes

Plenty of scribbly gums, and Banksia along the way. Mostly flat and sandy track with a few faller trees to climb over. The camp itself is fenced from dingos and has a separate fenced eating area. There are designated camping spots with picnic tables and metal boxes to keep your food safe from dingos. A short walk from the camp is Lake McKenzie - great for a swim after the walk in.

Comments

Great day walk (return). Lake McKenzie is spectacular and well worth the hike there. Fabulous as the only camping permitted there is solely for hikers.

Fabulous as a day walk or to overnight at Lake McKenzie. There is a couple of different options for the route from Kingfisher Bay to Lake McKenzie. Lake McKenzie is spectacular and so well worth the hike.
