Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk

Tamborine National Park

A spectacular elevated walkway through the beautiful middle and upper canopies of the rainforest. The walkway is a stable, high-tech steel structure enabling visitors to explore these canopies in a safe and secure way. It descends gradually to the lower canopy and follows points of interest including rock pools and tumbling creeks, a butterfly lookout, local history enclosure and sheltered rest areas along the way until reaching the amazing Cantilever. This is a 40 metre long span soaring 30 metres above the valley, with spectacular views over the creek and the rainforest canopies below.

By far my favorite small walk! Such a cool place even better if the platypus are playing at the end

Another great visit, still a bit expensive but nevertheless. If you come between October and January you may be lucky to see some Richmond Birdwing Butterflies (I saw several).

We felt entry was pretty overpriced. It's a nice walk, but it's pretty short and there are other much nicer walks nearby that don't cost a cent.

We told Mr Four that we would surprise him today. One of the clues was that what we were doing would help him know what it feels like to be a tree!
The cost of entering the site is expensive but it is a well kept walk that is interesting for all.
Pro tip: when visiting impressive rainforests, bring dinosaur figurines for epic photos ;)

After five Tamborine walk on the rainforest floor, it was great to get a bird's eye view for a change and the kids could run along ahead in complete safety. Lots of info to read.

Chose to do this on the last day of 2014 and it was pretty crowded! It's something different but I didn't see any wildlife due to the loud pedestrian traffic. Nice views on a clear day.

Easy access walk best done early morning to avoid crowds. Good month for viewing orchids including Sarcocilus high in the trees.

Short but a nice stroll. Don't look down if you are scared on heights.
