This enchanting walk begins in wet eucalypt forest beneath towering flooded gums. Notice a drop in temperature as the wet eucalypt forest merges into lush rainforest. Beautiful crows nest and staghorn ferns can be seen in the canopy above. The rock pool and surrounding basalt rock face provide important glow-worm and platypus habitat.

Beautiful. Easy walk to the falls but a harder walk around the creek circuit but well worth it. More uphill on the circuit.

Did the circuit walk, signage could be improved, got a little lost. Rain and leaches, had a ball, boys loved it!

Always a stunning walk. The 1.1km/30 mins mentioned is only to the lookout. However there is a longer walk (approx 3km return) down one side of the creek and back up the other side. There are a couple of places with man-made bridges to cross or you can follow the track all the way and rock hop across. The walk is easy and smooth but I still wish I'd worn my boots as I lost balance crossing the creek and ended up with wet socks and joggers :( There's a lovely cafe/bar/tea rooms right at the carpark too

Nice walk.

Relatively easy walk to the falls. Nice view once down there. It’s a shame the select few take it upon themselves to disregard the sign by jumping the fence then sitting right by the falls, oblivious to anyone else wanting to take a photo.

A fantastic little gem of a walk in the middle of a town.
Make sure you walk to the creek at the bottom.
Saw Fruit Bats on the way down, lizards and plenty of birds. There is talk of Platypus in the creek but unfortunately i didn't see any.
Easy walk but there is no made crossing at the end of the circuit so will need to scramble over rocks so take care.

Short waterfall walk, good for the kiddies or when the grandparents come to town!

Nice and easy!

Beautiful place. If you don't feel up to the extra 2.4k of the lower creek circuit as well, just go a short distance to the first bridge, idyllic spot.

I have done this walk a few times - it's part of my personal Tamborine tour. It's an easy walk but gets a little waterlogged at times. It can be very busy with tourists on the weekends. The full route is lovely but be wary of the patch where the bats roost. It's a bit stinky. Most tourists just go to the falls and back so it's nice and quiet.
I also go at night which is well worth it. Very quiet and peaceful.

Quite busy. Lovely walk down the creek. Nice and cool under the trees.

Ken Rafferty on 30 Apr, 2017

Was busy but the waterfall did look pretty good after a decent rain.
