Beautiful view and easy to do with little kids!

The sunsets here are divine!

Easy walk. Nice to do late afternoon and enjoy the sunset

Graeme "Watto" on 10 May, 2020

The mountain is very low but the view is much better than what you might expect. A lot less crowded than mount coolum.

Thomas M on 2 May, 2020

Very easy walk, took about 10 minutes to reach summit. Nice views of the surrounding areas still.

Darren on 25 Jan, 2020

Great little walk. Views from Noosa to Coolum

Ian Gibbs on 6 May, 2019

Hello, i want to know if in this track we arrive to the Peregina beach, which is called The Ocean Beach walk

Katy Rodriguez on 11 Mar, 2019

Easiest mountain hike I have done. Much more bushland in the view than Mt Coolum 3km away. Multiple places you can stand so you get a view of everything. It got its nickname due to the emus that lived up here. I post photos of my hikes to instagram.com/spring_beans and I am based in the Sunshine Coast :)

Hannah MC on 14 Feb, 2019

Great short walk. Interesting bushland. No emus anymore unfortunately.

Linda on Feb, 2019

Really easy walk and several good spots to make photos

Alex on 22 Sep, 2018

A short walk but with impressive views both north and south. Only 10 minute walk to the summit so nowhere near the 1 hour return walk as suggested.

Troy on 10 Sep, 2018

Great walk. Beautiful ocean views. Easy to do with kids.
Good route for people who want to have a run.

It's beautiful in spring! If you're lucky you'll see a lizard or two sunbathing.

The Lizard King on 2 Sep, 2017

Nice short walk with good views.

Ian and Sue on 17 Jun, 2017

Lovely little stroll with beach views :)

courtlalala on 14 Oct, 2016

Started along the Hakea track that runs parallel to the summit track. The open/scrub terrain was just right for some light 'scrub bashing' / rock scrambling. I couldn't resist, so I cut across to the summit track before reaching the Hakea and Summit track link. After reaching the summit, I came back down the summit trail.

Took the kids up. Was the perfect difficulty for their young legs (5, 3 and 3 years old).

Richard Mason on 2 Dec, 2015

Lovely little walk 30min up and back. Small gradient on a rubble surface so watch your step. Kids loved running all over the many paths and climbing the rocks.
