Thylogale Track

D'Aguilar National Park

Walk from Jolly's Lookout to Boombana. The walk is 4.5 kms one way, however you're better off walking back along the path, not the road. Walking along Mt Nebo Road is dangerous with all of its blind corners

Comments

Nice view near the start of the track. Plenty of interesting plants and birds around. I recommend returning via the same track. The road is a lot quicker but steeper and a bit dangerous due to the traffic and minimal walking space.

Easy walk - flat - very obvious track.
Great views of the city & Moreton Is, 10mins from the southern end of the track.

I've done this walk many times. It's a lovely flat walk that takes about 2 hours to complete.

Very enjoyable walk through forest, had something to eat at Boombanna cafe at Mt Nebo & then retraced our steps. Easy 2 hours!

Nice walk. As I came to a clearing I was expecting to be looking west but was surprised to be looking out over towards Moreton Island. It was an overcast day, that is my excuse anyway.

Easy walk in beautiful rainforest-like bushland. Note that this track is one way so it is an 8km walk.

Started from Boombana car park... 2hrs return (including Egernia Circuit). There is no walking track to Jolly Lookout, you must walk up the road from where Egernia Circuit starts. Some parts overgrown but still manageable. Went while raining so muddy puddles at times. Lots of leaches!! Amazing vegetation to be seen. Majority of the track is flat with minimal inclines. Highly recommended.

Great day and clear views.

Track was pretty boggy, not surprising given the rain we've had! Nice distance to mt nebo village for a coffee and then return. Took about 4 hours at an easy pace.

A great walk, kids loved it!

Started this walk thinking that I would have to make my way through thick over grown lantana but to my surprise there has been major removal of weeds from the Jollys Lookout end.

Compared to the last time I walked this track, what a breeze this walk was. The 4km went by so quickly.

And I met so many people along the way.... All enjoying the outdoors + bushwalking great to see.

I think this walk has been added to my favourite list :-)

Another day.... Another walk....
