The long way to Scrub Road Remote Bush Camp. Follows South Boundary Road the whole way. Some ups but overall mostly downhill but not too hectic.

Getting there
Head West on Mt. Nebo road from Walkabout Creek Discovery Centre. The entrance is on the left 500m West of Jolly's Lookout.

Route/Trail
Double track forest management road. Nice Eucalypt forrest with minor pockets of rainforest. The bush camp features three level-ish tent pads, a storm shelter with picnic table, and a rainwater tank (non-potable). No toilet facilities.
Permits/Costs
No permits required to hike. A camping permit is required from Queensland Parks to camp at Scrub Road Remote Bush Camp (7$ pp/per night in 2025)
