The walking track leads around the base of Mount Tibrogargan, through casuarina groves, open eucalypt and melaleuca forests. The track allows for great views of Mount Tibrogargan and Mount Cooee (to the north east). Keep an eye out for circling peregrine falcons.

Comments

Added this on to the end of the Trachyte trail, we worth it. The view from the base makes you want to climb to the top!

1st bushwalk - very easy for an unfit person like ourselves.

Nice relaxing walk, good way to start the morning, would recommend to everyone.

So much clearing has been done on this track in the last 12 months. Don't forget a hat. Great for beginners

Rebecca on 18 Mar, 2018

Easy walk. I found it quite boring, but I prefer mountains with views. This would be nice if you can't walk up mountains. Very peaceful.

Really nice easy walk. You get a few different views of the Glass House Mountains and also those dare devils that are climbing the circuit. Absolutely love this walk.

Pleasant walk around the Tibrogarden base.

We thought that we would take it easy on our first Bushwalk of the new season, having had three months out due to injury and 'the heat'. Yep, we don't climb mountains at this time of year in South East Queensland!
We included the Trachyte Circuit on the walk and given that it was a scorching hot day we were pretty 'bushed' by the end.

Pleasant walk. Bring your insect repellent!

Samuel Armstrong on 10 Dec, 2016

Very easy walk. Most of the views blocked by trees.

Kay on 7 May, 2016

Nice views. Short hike.

All pros from this walk. Didn't see a falcon, but the walk is beautiful, with rugged terrain. If you head north first, towards the end you will be rewarded with a gobsmacking close-up view of Tibrogargan's south face. Aside from that, the trees get in the way a bit.

Good challange for the whole family.

Was a great little walk with the family :)

This is a regular quick walk for us. Recently done this one on my own simply for fitness. This track is becoming very eroded though with a couple of trees across the track. Agree with previous comments that you spend a lot of time looking where to put your feet.

Rebecca on 14 Jul, 2015

Did this as an easy stroll with 10kg baby in ergo carrier. Some areas of track with shaley crumbly rock. Cant wait to come back to explore the other tracks also.

Nice stroll.
