Lovely temperature starting at 6am. Few people around. Then back to lounge around in the breeze.

Good to see Bunya’s special pine tree.

Lovely walk to start off my weekend in the bunya Mountains. Nice short walk took an hour. Not at all strenuous.

We completed this in anti-clockwise direction to avoid the worst of the inclines. My 4&6 year old ran ahead most of the way and made friends with other kids on the track.

We added an extra out & back leg to see the Barker Creek Lookout, which made our walk about 9km total. Great for my step-count, but the lookout was not quite the reward I was looking for - the other stops along the Scenic Circuit were more interesting, in my opinion.

Looking forward to returning and doing the Barker Creek Circuit next time - there's always more to see.

Took 1 hour to complete walk.
Very busy with people throughout the area, not a whole lot of wildlife.

This walk packs in so many great views, different landscapes, crystal clear creeks... really fantastic scenery and wildlife.

An easy walk. Would like to return to do some of the longer ones. A lovely area.

A easy walk that packs in a lot to see. Take the time to do the side tracks for Festoon Falls and Mcgrory Lookout as they are well worth the stop. The falls will be even better after some rain.

I escorted my wife and a couple of her friends who all had young children on this walk to help them get back on their feet after being pregnant.

We walked this late afternoon, starting about 4 o'clock. It's a lovely walk even with failing light.
