Barker Creek Circuit

Bunya Mountains

A very scenic walk leaving from the Dandabah Camping area, Bunya Avenue. The walk joins up with the shorter Tim Shea Falls walk. Best walked in an anti-clockwise direction for the views and less incline. A couple of side tracks to lookout points. Rainforest, grassy knoll and woodlands

Nice easy walk.

Great walk

Beautiful track, well worth it! By doing this longer track, you have the rain forest mostly to yourself. Lots of people at the main car park, picnic area, shorter walks. Only a small part of this track was barricaded off, but a detour was in place. Unfortunately there a few more walks closed because of fallen trees, etc.

Lovely walk with beautiful views. There's only one section that I'd actually class as uphill, but if you're wanting to do it the 'easy' way, go clockwise from the car park.

Great track to get a taste of what Bunya Mountains has to offer. Not difficult with a couple of good lookouts.

Not a difficult walk. Not much water at the falls. Track from Danabah to Pine Gorge Lookout is closed. Pine Gorge Lookout can be accessed via Tim Shea Falls. Views from the lookouts weren't as spectacular as from Mt Kiangarow. An enjoyable walk through the forest.

A lovely family walk. Little Falls and Paradise Falls were our favourite stops.

One of the best walks within the whole park. We did the circuit in an anti-clockwise direction, the best way I reckon. Took 10 young kids, none complained, not once. Tim Shea, Little and Paradise Falls flowing quite well, yet the side trip to Big Falls Lookout is worth it after a bit more rain. Overall an excellent track for all.

One of my favorite walks so far. I loved walking beside the small stream and amongst some massive trees. There are a few falls that are so tranquil with the water gently falling. The trip down the side track to the Baker Creek Falls lookout is worth your time for the views alone.

Great walk with a relatively gentle terrain. Saw a few wallabies on the trail but remember to bring insect repellent as the mosquitos are quite persistent (:

Great walk , followed all the way around and you will stumble upon a couple small waterfalls and some great look out points. Back at car park there's a nice lil restaurant with some good coffee waiting for you :-)

Lovely walk. We did all of the side tracks but found the view from an open paddock on the main track better than the Barker Creek Lookout from which we could see very little. We also couldn't see any falls from the Big Falls Lookout. However, all of the other falls were very pretty. I enjoyed the last leg the best between the Paradise Falls car park and Dandabah - very pretty, yet we didn't pass anyone else on that part of the track.

Easy walk, despite the length. Many great photo opportunities along the way.

Took my 6 year old camping at danebah and we then did the barker creek circuit. I was so proud of her for doing the whole 10km no complaints we really enjoyed the time and found lots of interesting fungi. Beautiful Forrest and country, took us four hours easy going. Looking forward to doing more and getting her really interested.

I combined this walk with the route from Cherry Plain for a bit more of a challenge. The varying forest types are spectacular, with twisting tracks and scenic waterfalls. Looked a bit over prepared as we approached the easier tracks however.

Lovely walk. Easy and nice to camp at Westcott or Burtons Well.

Bunya is one of my favourite places which never fails to please. This is an easy walk with lots of diversity in habitat and some superb views at the lookouts. Ideal for the whole family. Great place to get some good nature photos too.
