From the Lower Cable Station, head up to the Upper Cable Station following the India Venster signs (1hr 50min), then walk across the plateau to Maclear's Beacon (40min) following the signs, and then descend down the Platteklip Gorge (1hr 10min), once again following the signs and then return to the Lower Cable Station (20min)
