Route/Trail notes:

From the main resort area take up the main path past the tennis court to the Westernside of the island. From here there is a right hand turn up a steep flight of stairs. Note if the ground is wet this path and others on the main hill of the island become slippery underfoot. The steep staired path will take you up to the worksheds and staff quarters. Once up the steep section continue straight past the building to the concrete path and follow it further up the hill. Soon the concrete will die out and follow the path up to a building foundation with views all around. Then scramble up the last bit of rock to the top. Then return to the concrete path but follow it all the way down to the fair side of the island rather than back down the stairs. The path will deposit you in the little saddle between the two mounds. From here continue towards the smaller mound and find the path that starts up it. Follow this to the summit and return. Once back as the saddle follow the boardwalk back around to the start.

Permits/Costs:

Cost of boat transfer / accomodation on the island.
