Collins Flat Beach Track

Greater Sydney

“We had such a romantic day here. We rolled out the picnic blanket, popped open a bottle of wine and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, before dipping in for an afternoon swim.”

With its scenic harbour views, Collins Flat Beach, just north of Sydney city and nestled between North Head and Little Manly Cove, is an idyllic spot for a romantic picnic.

Whether you’re swimming in the calm waters or nibbling on gourmet snacks from a hamper for two, this hidden beach, with a breathtaking view across The Heads, feels a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Collins Flat Beach is in the North Head precinct of Sydney Harbour National Park. To get there:

Comments

A nice little walk, maybe I wasn't feeling it today but not something to rave about. it blew out some travel cob webs and got the blood flowing a bit but nothing worth taking the camera out of the case for.

Very short track to a peaceful beach. The only beach in Sydney with a waterfall!
