Summary

Dandenong Ranges is one of the fantastic National Parks in the Greater Melbourne region. The park was proclaimed in 1987 and further expanded in 1997. The park contains five sections: Doongalla Forest, Ferntree Gully, Mount Evelyn Forest, Olinda Forest and Sherbrooke Forest. There is a good range of walking tracks along with picnic areas, and limited cycling, horse riding and dog walking.
