Dularcha NP - Roses Circuit (Sunshine Coast)

Nice little walk, not many views from the track, but there are few little sneaky off shoots you can take to look into the valley. Good little challenge to build up fitness. If you walk through the tunnel look for the uphill track at either end of the tunnel that will take up to roses trail.
Enoggera Reservoir Circuit (Brisbane Forest park D'Aguilar National Park)

A lovely walk welcomed by bellbirds, glimpses of the stunning blue water and the secret life of ducks :) Good little challenge for someone building up fitness. No scrambling. Couldn't walk a "loop" across the dam wall, but the alternative around the back through the bus terminal and back to the carpark wasn't difficult to find. Needed water as the track was quite dusty and the wind was up.

One of my favourite walks, started at around 3:30pm waited in silence at Jack Farris look out as the bush around came alive with all types of birds, finches, bowerbirds, mistletoe birds - sensational colours. The candle stick bottelbrush and Geebungs where out and looking healthy. Nice time of year and day to do this walk.

Recommend the extra bit at the end around the base of Mt Tib.

Added this on to the end of the Trachyte trail, we worth it. The view from the base makes you want to climb to the top!

A lovely challenge, with the incline starting straightway from the carpark. Take your photos from the top of the south ridge before reaching the summit. A nice window looking north-west from the summit but bush in other directions. Lovely scramble down through fern gorge. Took around 3.5 hours with lots of stops for photos :)

Beautiful walk preferred this loop more than the more popular purling

Cool, mystical. Slippery after recent rain, muddy & The loop from the waterfall was closed at the time of my walk (31.12.2017) so that meant 265 steps back up. one way in, one way out. Instead go down to Warringa Pool (with multiple rock spas) and do a swimming scrabble, lovely very popular track.
The Northbrook River Trail (Northbrook Gorges) (Brisbane Forest park D'Aguilar National Park)

Excellent scramble and swimming walk. Lush and green, refreshing water temperature. Benefited from two days of rain prior and light rain while walking. Took me around 2.5 hours return. Time includes the many photo stops and 15 min lunch break. The carpark is bigger now. At the bottom of the car park there is a little dirt track, cross the road and go over the road barrier, walk a small way downhill to find the beginning of the track - it is quite steep. Note would take waterproof bag next time :)

It is a magical walk - you can feel something here. The view from Jack Ferris Lookout is really amazing, where you get a good view of a few of the mountains. It can be quite steamy in summer, although you are shaded by bush. No wonder its a popular walk & busy trail.
