Mt Barney North Peak (Mt Barney National Park)

Great walk, pretty much all off track as described. Once you get on the ridge, much like Logan’s, it’s just a matter of finding the easiest way up the ridge. We came back down via rocky creek before cutting across to Logan’s lower down. Rocky Creek is pretty easy to follow down. Took about 8hrs all up. Gps of some sort is needed, or a map at the very least.

Great walk, really enjoyed it. Heaps of scrambling involved, but nothing too difficult, though might be tricky if
You aren’t used to scrambling or climbing. Along as you stick to the ridgline, you shouldn’t have too much trouble, though it would be wise to have some sort of navigational aid to assist you. Great views of Barney along the way. It doesnt look high compared to Barney but it’s still quite a big walk. Took us about 5hrs all up. Would do it again for sure

Awesome route. Love the scrambling. What a great route. Not for the inexperienced scrambler or anyone with a fear of heights. It’s not really that difficult to find a path or route up this way, it kind just takes a couple of looks to find which way is easiest . All part of the fun. Took about 3/12 hrs to get up, then took SE ridge down. Awesome day

Great walk, still quite overgrown at the start going through the sugar cane area, but really nice once you enter the rainforest. Plenty of markers to follow once you've left the rainforest and start the steeper scramble section. Great views towards Mt Warning at the top. Definitely wear long clothing, or you'll definitely be getting scratched.

Easy to follow walk, but I must have come up the opposite side to the person who wrote the route navigation as everything was the opposite. I needed to be on the left side of the fence, and the path following the cliff face was to the left, not the right. Other than the confusing part looking for the path to the right, pretty easy to follow, with some limited but great views at the top. Definitely don't do it when wet.

Great walk. Easy track to follow, bit of rock hopping once you reach the first ridge, and great views up top. Took an 1hr 10 to the top and 45mins down, plus however long you want to spend at the top. Right up there for walks in the region.

Awesome walk and incredible views at the top. One of my favourite walks I've done in the region. It's tough but not super long. Took about 1hr 5 mins up and 40 down. I'd suggest enjoying your time at the top, it's well worth it. Spent an 1hr up there,
But that didn't even seem long enough.

Great walk, really enjoyed it. Pretty damp, so the right clothing and footwear is essential. Only took a little over 4hrs, but I was walking solo without any long stops. Unlike others, I was lucky enough not to get any leeches. Well worth it!
