Getting there

Nice and easy, just search Mt Banks on Google and it will come right up. It's on Mt Banks Rd just off Bells Line of Rd.

Route/Trail notes

The circuit involves a moderate ascent from the carpark up to Mt Banks - Great views on the way, pretty average views on the top. Descend via the circuit track and follow the firetrail to the end - you will know it's the end because if you go any further you will walk off the edge of a cliff. Return via the same firetrail then at the sign for Mt Banks summit take the firetrail on the right which bypasses Mt Banks and leads back to the carpark.

Nice easy stroll with only a very moderate ascent to the top of Mt Banks. There you will be greeted with some pretty average obstructed views - however still better than the view from the summit of Mt Hay. Overall this walk is quite similar to Mt Hay but possibly a little less scenic. That being said there are still some amazing views along the way!
