Up SE Ridge and down Palm Gorge. Basic navigation skills is enough going up SE Ridge. Very nice views going up. Going down, Palm Gorge is beautiful and surreal. We were glad we did it going down. Going up Palm Gorge would be a hard slog. Great hike.

Hard one. It is great to test your willpower and motivation. You climb one peak and then the second peak with the tower becomes visible from a lookout point and you need to motivate yourself to continue and summit. Going up the track and way up is not difficult to find and navigate. Coming back down you need to pay attention to the route. I got distracted and went the wrong way that led to fabulous caves where a couple were rock climbing. It was a dead end though and I had to track back up and find the right track down to the car park. I lost about 15 minutes but it was worth it as the caves where beautiful and I would not have seen them if I had not got lost. You need to be fit to do this one and it needs good supportive shoes.

It is a fun one. :) Up, down, up. Someone, please take pink flagging tape and put it where it is supposed to be. There is no pink tape. Not that it matters. The track is very obvious. But there is no pink tape. :) Definitely not a summer hike. It is exposed. Its great fun.

Loved this one. It is a hard one though. It’s really punishing all the way to the summit. It’s a pilgrimage. You almost expect a shrine at the top and you kind of get one. A decent level of fitness is required and good hiking shoes is a wise choice . Although I bumped into a lady going up in sandals and skirt. 😳😳 Summit is spectacular.

It’s straight up. You need to pace yourself as it gets harder as you climb. Towards the end it flattens a bit. Track is well worn and is the only one so no chance of getting lost.

Easy walk. Didn’t climb the rock out of respect.

Uphill right from the start. Warm up if you are going for exercise pace. Or start slow and build up to a comfortable pace. Narrow path bordered by weeds all the way. Wear long pants if you are sensitive. If you wear shorts, know that plants and weed will brush up against you all the time. It is a great walk. Fantastic views at summit.

This is a perfect track for anyone new to hiking or wanting to start and would like to know if they like it. The track is well worn, well signed, well frequented on weekend, it is challenging enough, it is beautiful hike with many vantage points, it is not very long and the summit views are excellent. Highly recommend for any new hikers. As with any other walk in Queensland, do not recommend doing this in summer.
The Pyramid (Girraween National Park)

Don't attempt in wet. There are sections close to summit that will be slippery as it is a rock face. Have shoes with very good grip if you plan to summit. It is not a rock climb but you will need to scramble. and have steady legs. To summit a good level of fitness is necessary.
