Route/Trail notes

This walk will take you right to the edge, with stunning views from cliffs that plummet into the sea beneath. Geology is the star here, with amazing formations, including arches and gulches worn through sedimentary layers by constant wave action.

The walk ends at a high lookout with views across to a waterfall that drops over perpendicular cliffs into the sea. After rain the falls can put on a spectacular display.

Permits/Costs

National parks pass only.

Comments

I enjoyed the walk but on a day that was 1'in temp and a strong 60kmh artic blast coming out of the south west and on the second day of rain in the area it was not one for the casual sight seer. There was snow in the area the next day and I was guessing by the silence and lack of wild life they knew what was coming and bunkered down. Beautiful scenery and a wonderful experience but the trails were a little bogey. Time and a tight travel schedule wasn't kind to me but I would love to visit again when the weather is better. it looks like it would be a special place when the wildlife is out and about.

Great little afternoon walk. It was pretty muddy so be prepared!

A wonderful walk to just stretch the legs! Wonderful wildlife along the way including wrens, parrots, wattle birds, wallabies etc. While it’s an easy walk along a gravel path, there are several sections with slight inclines and/declines. A great short walk to do while in the area.

An easy walk with some good views. Keep an ear out for the birdlife.
