Make sure you have prepared yourself for this trip - lots of ups and downs! We walked out of the overland track - catching the ferry out isn’t the full track - the pioneers of this track didn’t have a ferry. Beautiful scenery and if you like fungi…there are plenty of photographic opportunities. Fully enjoyed it but certainly a challenge…and accept any soreness! Make sure you take the appropriate gear for all weather. This walk will have the seperate walk (on this site) of Narcissus to Cynthia Bay included to represent the full walk. All up 6 nights, 7 days of walking. Camped at Echo Point which was the perfect way to finish the walk - beautiful.

Completed the epic & memorable Overland Track with Sus who is a trooper for carrying our tent most of the 6 day hike.

Amazing experience. Challenging in many different ways (including snow!).

Wowee this was the hardest thing and most rewarding thing I'd ever done. Lucky your pack gets lighter the more you eat as you go along! Day 3 was the hardest for me and my group - nearly broke us! And yet there were some insanely fit people that did day 2 and 3 combined which astonishes me.

Had perfect weather the whole week - thanks blocking high over the Tasman.

Amazing walk... take bare essentials and enjoy it more. Weather can be tricky be prepared.

Did this walk from South to North as we were outside of the peak season where you can only go North south. My first multi night trek and completed it in 5 days. Absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it. Encountered snow at the Kioria Hut from an overnight dump. Weather was good except for the last day where we got a white out due to a snow storm as we were descending from Cradle mountain. We had friends who did this walk the normal way and we met at Pelion Hut and swapped car keys. Brilliant!! I will be doing this walk again for sure.

One of the great classic walks in Australia. It pays to be very well prepared for this walk as weather conditions can change suddenly and cabins are often full. Must do for all keen bush walkers!
