The Pinnacle and Fairview Mountain via Valley Break

From the end of Austinville rd follow the 4wd track of Valley Break to Fairview Mountain and then turn left onto a at times overgrown single track till The Pinnacle (Springbrook Pinnacle) which is contoured around to the right where the route up becomes apparent (on the opposite side of the pinnacle as of that you approached (Southern side)). A scramble to the summit which offers 360 views.

The best rural landscape view in Japan 日本一農村景観 (Gifu Prefecture)

In sleepy Iwamura there is a sign that self-proclaims itself to be the best rural landscape in all of Japan. It's a bold claim and one that I would personally disagree with, but nonetheless it exists. From the lookout you get a 360 view of farmland and ricefields. Something that you can see anywhere in Japan. Do not get your hopes up, just because it is apparently the best in Japan.

Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk

A spectacular elevated walkway through the beautiful middle and upper canopies of the rainforest. The walkway is a stable, high-tech steel structure enabling visitors to explore these canopies in a safe and secure way. It ascends gradually through the lower canopy and follows points of interest including rock pools and tumbling creeks, a butterfly lookout, local history enclosure and sheltered rest areas along the way until reaching the amazing Cantilever. This is a 40 metre long span soaring 30 metres above the valley, with spectacular views over the creek and the rainforest canopies below.

Timbarra Lookout

An outcrop of granite rocks near the southern edge of the Basket Swamp National Park. An easy 100-metre walk trail brings you to the base of this trig point which is high on the tallest rock in this outcrop though to get to the trig on top of the rock requires a hard climb up a very narrow crevasse. 180 degree views across farmlands and the Bruxner Highway and as far as Tenterfield can be seen from the rock.
