Robinson Gorge Lookout

Expedition National Park

An easy walk from Starkvale camping ground, through open woodland on a well-defined track to get views of the sheer sandstone cliffs of Robinson Gorge. Look down into the gorge from unfenced cliff edges - care is needed.

Getting there

The turnoff to the park is 18km north of Taroom then 73km of dirt road to the entrance to the park. It's then 16km 4WD only to Starkvale Creek camping ground.

Expedition National Park is quite remote but well worth the 7.5 hours it took us to get there. Lots of birdlife and spectacular scenery.
