Lovely waterhole, very popular :)

We visited this site briefly, the walk down the stairs to the water hole is relatively easy and quite pretty. The water hole itself is a little oasis, water fall was flowing over the rocks when we visited. There were quite a few people swimming there when we arrived. We had to disconnect our caravan to drive there, we just left it in the camping area in town and had no problems. Worth the effort.

The rocks are beautiful

Amazing. It is 9am and this little out of the way waterhole already had two other visiting parties! Loved working my way across the boulders at the neck to get to the far side.

Lots of beautiful rock formations and grass trees. It is literally entirely stairs though, just 800m of stairs.

Every step is scenic

Stairs have been upgraded in recent years making the climb to the water hole very pleasant

Nice place for picnic/ walks and swim in the waterhole during summer !

We've been here a number of times and it really is a great place. If you're in the area you must take a look. The path down is no longer a path, but a well constructed set of stairs. It really isn't much of a path anymore. Never the less, pretty easy.

Beautiful little spot!

A very nice little spot, thats easy to miss from the road. Look for the sign near the General Store in the small town of Maidenwell. Once at the Waterhole Carpark, follow the easy path down to the waterhole.
A reasonable sized grassy area is near the water, which overlooks a small waterfall. Easy walk for most people.

A gem hidden on a back road. Not the best signposted place in the area, but a picturesque spot none the less.

Often visited this place with school friends for a swim and a picnic.
