Very nice walk, we like the Bellbird hiking area. Kids love it too.

Did this with my daughter. Very nice walk with some historical information about searching for gold in the early 20th century. Nice quiet park area to relax before and after the walk

Great walk for local history, the creeks were dry but seemed like they'd flow under a heavy wet season. The Turrabul circuit is definitely worrh doing alongside this track in one loop

Easy family friendly track.

Interesting insights into gold mining here. Some old mines along the way. Took me around half an hour with stops to read the signs.

Nice quick stroll. Good informative signs about gold mining along the track.
Track map seems to show as if it's not a loop, but it is - finishes off at the green field between parking lot and toilets.
Took us 25 min to complete with stopping to read the info tiles.

Quick little walk full of history from the gold rush era.

Mining shafts to view upclose combined with interesting signs along the way was of great interest to kids & adults wanting to know about gold mining history in the area. Fairly easy walk, especially with the frequent sign stops. Walk goes through a lovely picnic area at brush box picnic area. Again, no water flowing in creek beds, a little stagnant water though. Still a lovely walk overall, more bush than 'rainforest' feel.

Easy walk with steps in the steeper sections. It was interestion to read the information on the history of the area. There is a number of information signs along the walk.

We loved the historical aspect of the walk. The kids had a great time 'looking for gold!' They were amazed that someone had lived at the shed! Nice easy walk.

This can be a bit hot in summer but it's only short and an interesting walk historically

We also combined this walk with the Turrbal circuit for a slightly longer walk. A good walk not too far from Brisbane. Very easy track - we used it as a test run for our baby/infant backpack and had no problems. I can't remember how long it took us but probably around an hour. A few people were around the picnic areas but we never saw anyone else on the track.

I combined this walk with the Turrbal Cct Track which made for a combined distance of about 2.7km. Interesting walk, lots of photo ops, and plenty of history. Would be a good one to take the family on.

Great walk. Being an old gold rush site makes it educational too.

A great track and too bad more walks aren't as impressive as this walk is.

What a great walk! So interesting the local history. The track was dry the odd rock sticking up but otherwise no problems. Please DO NOT TAKE SHORT CUTS barriers have been errected.

We took alot of photos. A must-do if local history interests you.
