Route/Trail notes

The trail rises steadily from the Resort Trail Entrance up to Passage Peak, the highest point of the island. The last 200m is fairly steep but on a well-constructed path. You can return the same way, or extend the walk via South East Head and Escape Beach.

Permits/Costs

No costs, other than getting to Hamilton Island if you're not staying on the island.

Nice early morning walk during a conference on Hamilton Island. Great spot to catch the sunrise (bring a torch)!
