Perfect day for the waterfalls and the views.

Good walk, spectacular views. Went out via the boarder track and returned via the Coomera Falls. Probably would have been a lot easier if I had just come back via the way I went out.

Really impressed by this walk!! It's long but totally worth the effort. The waterfalls are sensational, there's roughly 5 continuous kms of waterfalls and river crossings on the way there. Heaps of water at the moment but didn't see a single leech. I did trip over a snake at one point but i think he got just as big a fright as I did. After the Coomera circuit it's a pretty short walk up the border trail to Mt Merino and the view there is fantastic. It's a sheer drop from the lookout into the Numinbah Valley. Way better view than Wagawn or Hobwee! I would say this walk is most similar to the Warrie Circuit/Springbrook Pinacle walk except in my opinion this one was even better.

Did it as an add on to the Coomera Circuit and included also the Chakoonya lookout with the view to the east. A bit further you will find the half way marker of the Border track (for those who do the complete border track in two sessions).

Did this track from o'reilly's, was fairly easy with a awesome view!

Did this walk in conjunction with the Coomera circuit. The Mt Merino section of the walk is hard simply because of the length of the walk the track is reasonable by Lamington NP standards and slopes are gentle. In rain track is very muddy and slippery in places. Views at Mt Merino are spectacular and looks over the Tweed valley.

Did this one as part of the Border Track.
We had excellent weather, so clear views and warm.

We did this part as part of our return trip on the Boarder Track. Nearly turned back a couple of times because we weren't sure how far this side track was. We thought it might go round and to the top of a peak but it didn't. It really just went straight out to a lookout. Maybe 200m. Not sure. I should have checked everyone else's comments. We think it might have given a view of Mt Merino, but we're not sure as we couldn't see a thing due to the cloud. It did look like a steep drop though which was a bit un-nerving when everything was white.

Great day, very cold and wet, lots of leeches. Got some trippy photos through the low cloud that was hanging about, saw a few blue marin which was awesome.
