Family Bushwalks in South East Queensland (ISBN 9780646946092) p228

Comments

Simple walk in the bush. Views very limited due to vegetation growth. Good to see the work done to provide a trail for the public (parking, picnic table, steps in some sections). Along Freeman Road a section with great sunset views.

Nice gentle walk with the family (incl 2 kids). Good bird watching opportunities - thankfully we took the binocs. Lovely area for a picnic near the lookout - take a rug and enjoy!

Alright walk. Not much of a lookout. Could see similar obscured view between the houses on the drive. Nice bushland though, although leaf litter makes the fire trail a bit slippery. Wife slipped over, I nearly slipped a few times but managed to stay upright. There is decent playground for the kids about 2 minutes down the road (pass it getting to the walk)

Amazing views!!

Pleasant walk with Gold Coast glimpses. Not that difficult to do so a nice leisurely walk.

Not too bad for a short walk. the view was just like the image (the trees surrounding having overgrown it). A bit further from open grass area there was another view area, a bit more open, but faces towards the hinterland and can't see to far because of the mountains being kinda close.

Good short walk, nice view of the city.

A short walk, not much of a ‘lookout’ although there was a small clearing/gap in the trees that you could see the high rises at the Gold Coast.

Trail was a little overgrown but it was a nice short walk.

Very easy short walk. Bring a picnic to have in the clearing to try to drag out the walk too. Great view out to the Gold Coast high rises and ocean from the clearing.

Fantastic family walk, easy enough for the young ones & interesting enough for the older ones. A great spot at the end for a picnic with views.

This site looks brand new. No one else was here. Nice easy walk with views of the Gold Coast skyline.
