How do you get to the start of the walk? Note: 4WD access only. Either head across car ferry from Tewantin and drive  north from 3rd beach cutting to end of beach along the beach or head from Rainbow Beach east along Teerwah beach (low tide access only). The tide comes in fast! Even though we left only one hour after mean low tide, the beach was disappearing fast! Ran down from the lighthouse in 10 minutes then caned it up to freshwater Rd quicksmart!

We left our flip flops on the beach and walked up barefoot, we couldn't stop until we reached the top, it was such beautiful views.

Nice short walk to enjoy the views

Nice easy walk. Good vantage for watching dolphins and whales if at right time of year. 4wd access only and ample parking on beach. Can be busy. Be sure to only be driving on beach 2 hours either side if low tide.

This time I did this walk from the eastern end of Teerwah Beach. Both approaches are very scenic.

Short walk up from the beach to take in excellent views of the coastline

Walkinghawk on 22 Dec, 2013

After doing this walk we proceeded to head up to Rainbow Beach and nearly got caught by the tide. Some scary moments with the Hilux being taken through salt water up to the bonnet.
