Fantastic walk.
Walked down to the bottom of the falls for a some lunch. Jumped into the lovely pond under the falls to cool down. Proceeded to explore down below the falls and further down stream, climbing down (no ropes) until no longer possible. There were caves at the bottom of the gorge I could see in the distance.
Returning back up the stairs, stopping to admire the ancient art along the way, I realised there was a track to the top of the falls which I explored extensively, (be careful!) You can follow a path up to the lovely, large and deep ‘plunge’ pools along the creek on top of the falls.
I then back tracked to the car park.

Can’t recall the times as I am recalling from Feb of this year, but took up most of the day.
Was camped at the campground and drove to the start of the track.

Beautiful walk. A bit busier than the other walks in the Blackdown Tablelands.

Rainbow Falls is absolutely stunning!! 240 steps to the bottom but we'll worth it
