Cedar Creek Falls

South East Queensland

Not to be confused with Cedar Creek at Mount Tambourine, this spot is located approximately 20 minutes from the village of Samford on Brisbane’s north side.
To access Cedar Creek, begin at Samford and drive north along Mount Samson Road, then turn left into Cedar Creek Road.

This is a great place to take a dip and cool off in summer or soak up the sun on a large rock in winter. Kids will also be kept busy with exploring the local surrounds.
There are no established bushwalking paths in the area, so best to stay near the creek.

Comments

was a bit slippery as it had rained. I wouldn't do it again in or after rain but still loved it

Went there with my two kids. They loved the waterfall. Even it was winter, kids still played in the water. Super easy walk for all ages

Great rock hopping and small streams for young kids. Happened to be an overcast day which was great weather.

We go to this place at least once a year. It's such a great spot. The main attraction for us is the rock pool up at the fall.

lovely rock-hopping walk up to the waterhole followed by a chilly dip. Kids had a great time

I do no agree with the rating that this is easy - if there is a lot of water in the creek it is very difficult to climb over the slippery rocks - there have been numerous rescues out at Cedar Creek. There is a lot of rock hopping involved and some rock climbing as well

Been here plenty of times, great for a dip after you have spent the day at the beach.
