Route/Trail notes

Begin this walk at the John Oxley Reserve.  The sealed path winds it's way down toward the river, passing firstly through dry eucalypt forest, followed by wet eucalypt forest, then mangroves until you come to a loop track which takes you to a boardwalk loop track which walks around a she oak salt marsh.

Easy 1.3km walk on sealed (bitumen) track and raised boardwalks. Information plaques at several places are excellent if, like me, you're interested to learn what is growing in each of the zones (dry eucalypt, wet eucalypt, mangrove). Unlike previous comment I didn't find any mossies.

We found lots of mosquitos. Don't forget the rid just in case.
