This is a great walk through mostly canopied forest that skirts around Enoggera Reservoir. There are some quite steep hills which will be a challenge if you are not very fit, but most of the walk is easy. Glimpses of the reservoir, lots of beautiful trees, the odd encounter with wildlife make for a very enjoyable couple of hours.

It is best to call into the Information Centre at Walk About Creek before starting this walk as they have detailed instructions on navigating the bit of suburb walking required to complete the circuit. It's also useful to have the topographical map as the hike isn't on marked trails - it would be difficult to get lost - but it's possible! If you are doing a circuit then just keep taking Left hand turns if going anti clockwise!

Neat little walk

Great walk, easy until the hill section. You can rest at the restaurant at the end of the hike.

A great urban hike. Pity you have to trek through the suburbs at the end as it is not actually a circuit. Be great if you could walk across the top of the dam wall!

Very enjoyable walk and considering its so close to suburbia it is a 'hidden gem'. the glimpses of the water make it that much more special than other forest walks around Brisbane. i'm only a very average walker and it took 2 hr 45min and measured 10.9km

Nice easy walk. Mostly flat. I took a few detours to skirt some of the D'Aguilar tracks to make it more challenging. Worth bringing your swimmers to jump in for a dip on your return.

I often do this one in training for Oxfam Trailwalker - convenient to home, with pleasant views, and it's part of the 100/55km course. Plenty of others use these trails too, so it's a good one if you're a solo walker. Pack your swimmers for a cool-down swim in hot weather.
