Bracalba Running Trail

South East Queensland

This is where the Glasshouse Mountains Parkrun is held on a Saturday morning. It's a lovely hiking area too that includes rainforest and bush surroundings. There's some great steep hills and a couple of different tracks adjoining to make your hike longer if you desire.

NOTE: these tracks have been closed from 20 December 2024 due to a significant weather event. Correct as of 5 January 2024.

Drive along McConnel Rd (the road changes to a single lane dirt rd), keep going until you see the Trail signs on the right hand side. Parking is good and signed.

Great walk. Some really good up and downs and the final climb to the end is a good challenge. The track from the last marker is quite overgrown but the rest of the track is clear to follow. Our two 11 year olds did it with us.

Completed this walk. Was stunning views and some great places to stop for a nice picnic lunch along the way.
Last hill is very steep and challenging.
Parking has plenty of space for several cars and only 5 mins from Woodford

Nice walk through classic Australian bush. A good amount of hills to make this great exercise and a nice distance.

Mostly well sign posted until the end. Final part of the walk a solid incline which was quite challenging especially in the heat. Well maintained trail.
