Platypus Track (Castle Hill/Eric Mobs Reserve)

The Hills Shire

This walk provides the opportunity for views into Bidjigal and Excelsior Creeks and then a walk along the shady valleys of these creeks amongst ferns and Coachwood trees. On warm days Eastern Water Dragons can be seen in Excelsior Creek.

This track starts from the fire trail at the end of Excelsior Avenue, Castle Hill.

I have done this walk many times. It feels like you are in Blue Mountain. A nice and cool, all covered by trees tracks so you can also do on a hotter day.

Kids loved it too.
