Route/Trail notes

This walk has a few different separate walks added to it in so much as you can edit your walk according to your fancy. The national Parks map linked above shows these walks. We took in the Smokey Cape Trail heading northwards until the Green Island Track junction where we turned left onto that track and followed it until the next junction, turned right and followed down the hill to Gap Beach. Walked the beach northwards and found Gap Beach track leading back up the hill and eventually joining Little Bay Track where you turn right and follow to Little Bay, then walk through carpark etc and find Monument Hill Track and follow to the Gaol.

Comments

Walked to see Green island, then down along the beach below the lighthouse. That was actually a bit of a scramble trying to find it, but there are blue paint marks on trees to look out for.
