A relatively easy short walk in kosciuszko national park. patches of snow can obscure the path a bit. Beautiful eucalypts and wildflowers would be beautiful in spring.
Getting there
How do you get to the start of the walk?
on kosciuszko road heading to perisher, pull into the bay to the left after passing Sponar's Chalet. The bay is marked by signage for 'rainbow lake track'

A detailed description of the walk!
there is an informative plaque at the start of the track, but no other signage. The track is easy to follow, even though snow in winter may obscure parts of the path, particularly at the start.

track itself is free, but park use fees apply for Kosciusko national park.
