Getting there

Starting from Bundeena, you can catch a train to Cronulla and then a ferry to Bundeena, or drive

From Otford, you can catch a train or drive

Route/Trail notes

Day 1: From Bundeena you walk 18km south along a well defined track to South Era

Day 2: Continue walking 8km from South Era camp ground to Otford

You can also choose to detours to Jibbon head and figure eight pools

Permits/Costs

Camping fees - $6.15 each (min 2 people) Car entry permit - $12 per day

one of the toughest walk of all time we did. 32 kms (including walking till cronulla ferry). did it in one day - please make sure you have good fitness level and a lot of water if doing in on hot day like us. otherwise book campground on north era and split the walk into two days.
