Glengarrif Woods Nature Reserve - Esknamucky + Waterfall & River Walk

Combination of three short walks the Esknamucky Walk, Waterfall Walk and The River Walk in the Glengarrif Woods Nature Reserve.

Greenes Falls via Rainforest Circuit + Cypress Grove Circuit

Greenes Falls Track is one of three connected walks, comprising of the Rainforest Circuit (2km return), Greenes Falls Track (+2.2km return) and the optional add-on of Cypress Grove Circuit (+500m), making a total walking distance of 4.7km. The small but beautiful trail network includes several boardwalk sections and sets of stairs, passing over rainforest pools and ending at a lookout above Greenes Falls. Be prepared for an uphill walk on the return trip. Parking is available at Maiala car park.

Gap Creek to Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens

This walk will use several tracks in the Mount Coot-tha area to take you from Gap Creek to Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens

Goat House Cave

A steep climb through wet rainforest till you reach the cliffs of Mt Lidgbird at 400m and to your left is the large volcanic cliff overhang know as Goat House Cave, with its spectacular views of the settlement on the one side and Ball's Pyramid on the other.

Gold Mine

This 5.5km walk is a pleasant and easy walk, with slight inclines and easy walking. It runs alongside Booloumba Creek and winds its way up to the Gold Mine. The main track is through sub-tropical rainforest and wet sclerophyll forest.

Gold Coast

The tourism capital of Australia. Although visitors may know the Gold Coast for its beaches and theme parks, locals are known to have an active lifestyle so the council has provided plenty of accessible parks and the GC hinterland also isn't too bad either.

Genowlan Mountain and the Valley of the Dinosaurs

A scenic off trail adventure to check out some of the nice view points around the Valley of the Dinosaurs.

Glenbrook to Red Hands Cave (via Jellybean Pool)

This walk takes you across Glenbrook Gorge and up Campfire Creek to Red Hands Cave. The walk is quite serene and you can enjoy some peace as you wander along the trail to the art in Red Hands Cave. The side trip to the grinding grooves is worthwhile to complement the cave art.

Grasstree Track - Eagle's Nest Trail Loop, Redwood Park

This loop starts from the Redwood Park trailhead near the bottom of the Toowoomba Range. It is a moderately challenging walk through eucalypt forest, with views towards Mount Table Top & Picnic Point. It is possible to extend your walk by following the marked side-track to the Ferny Gully Circuit (approx. 2km return). The archaeological dig site at the Eagles Nest Men's Camp historical is also located off Eagle's Nest Trail (trailhead unsigned). Caution: slippery after rain.

Officially listed as Grade 4 difficulty (includes some steep sections, loose/ slippery/boggy surfaces + limited signage), this track is suitable for walkers/runners with a moderate-high fitness level.

Golden Beach to Bulcock Beach (SCCP 2)

This 2nd section of the Sunshine Coast Coastal Pathway (SCCP) is always busy with people taking a stroll or enjoying the beaches, water activities and the views across to Bribie Island.
