Route/Trail notes
Follow a faint trail between some fences for about 500m . There are three gullies to cross the last one is steep and a rope has been left there to help climb up and down. A faint trail after the 3rd gully contours around some open land till it reaches a ridge that you turn right onto this ridge. Now follow the ridge up where the trail threads through some rather large lantana patches. Follow through the rainforest where the path is slippery and loose. You will enter and leave rainforest as you follow the trail up. Once you leave the rainforest, after a few twists and turns to move above a cliffline, you will reach a steep, loose slope that will get you to the summit ridge. Once the ground levels out follow the trail uphill and down dale to the true summit. A welcome sign was there when I climbed.
Simply retrace your steps back to your car.

A good walk but heavily eroded in parts.Walkabout on 11 May, 2011
A very faint trail that begins on the corner of the layby between two fencelines. The path is overgrown, poorly maintained, and badly marked. Some areas are positive mudslides, so would not recommend in wet weather. Walk along the top is pleasant, in spite of encumbered views.
