Route/Trail notes

Walk past the gate and 4wd track to an intersection turn left and walk for about 100m looking fo a footrail on the right. usual marked with a stick arrow! Follow this path steeply uphill for about 20 min until you reach the first summit. After exploring this area face the second summit and follow the obvious ridge down, at the bottom of this ridge is a gully with steep sides, take care descending. Follow a faint path up the other side , in some places it requires some scrambling. When you arrive at the Second peak have a good look round and see the other Peaks in the area. Follow a faint trail heading south and after 10 minutes it steeply descends towards a 4WD track. It is easy to lose the trail! If you do just keep aiming towards some rather large barns below across the road. Tack around till you find an easy descent between a steep overgrown gully and a cliff face. Follow this down to the 4 wd drive track turn left and follow this around for about 15min to the intersection passing your ascent point and turn towards the cars.

The most northern of the Glasshouse mountains- beautiful views!! Kids can climb to the western peak but taking them to the eastern peak would be risky. A nice challenge climbing down to the saddle and up the other side from the west to east peaks and vise versa. Would be unlucky to meet anyone else on the walk.
