Mount Coolum
(Sunshine Coast)My sons aged 5yrs and 7yrs have climbed mt Coolum twice. it's beautiful on a clear day but no seating on the way up. Nice steady climb until you get nearer the top and it becomes a little steep and rocky. Took us about 45mins max

This walk is been repaired and you need to go before 7.00am otherwise it is closed till the late afternoon. Saw whales from the top.16 Jul, 2011

CLIMBED MT COOLUM TODAY, AWSOM VEIWS AT THE TOP. SOME STEEP ROCKY SECTIONS WHICH COULD BE TRICKY FOR SOME.I GOT TO THE TOP IN TWENTY MINUITS, GOOD VEIWS OVER THE OCEAN AND UP AND DOWN THE COASTLINE. ALSO GOOD VEIWS TO THE EAST OVER LOOKING THE HINTERLAND.ALL UP I SPENT ABOUT AN HOUR FOR THE RETURN TRIP.27 Sep, 2010

Short but reasonably tough walk. Hot on the day I did it and fairly exposed, not much shade. Excellent views from the top.
