Route/Trail notes

Get to the track before lunchtime to enjoy your time at the top. Be prepared for a steep hike that doesn't end until you are at the top. Some seats along the way to take a rest on. Take plenty of water. In rain the gravel track maybe difficult for cars but ok for 4wheel drives. Great views from the first floor of the fire tower.

A steep walk on a concrete track. Met a couple on the way up who were coming down wearing thongs; it was tough enough wearing shoes. Good views from the top.
