Point Lookout Gorge Walk

 (Moreton Bay)

A great walk which almost guarantees you'll catch a view of some marine life - dolphins, rays, turtles or even whales at the right time of year.

Getting there

Barges and Water Taxis run to Dunwich. Once on the island either drive to Pt Lookout or catch the local bus. (http://www.stradbrokeholidays.com.au/getting-here/)

Maps

Tourist maps are available from local businesses.

Route/Trail notes

The walk starts from Moolooba Rd opposite the shops at the top of the hill. The track is easy to follow and returns to the same spot.

Beautiful views around the coastline along the ocean beach and rocky coves. Views of dolphins. Easy walk with some steps and viewing platforms.
